Torre Fornillo

Postcard of the Amalfi Coast from Malaysia

Torre Fornillo is an ancient Saracen watchtower perched on a rocky cliff overlooking the sea in Positano along the Amalfi Coast in Italy. This historic coastal defense tower was built during the Middle Ages to watch for pirate raids.

The writing translates to: “The land is vast, and the river flows. Who lit the lamp to illuminate you? Saying goodbye is a difficult journey towards growth.”
