Tugu Negara (National Monument) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which commemorates those who died in the nation’s struggle for freedom. Designed by Felix de Weldon and unveiled in 1966, it is recognized as the world’s tallest bronze freestanding sculpture grouping. The bronze structure depicts seven soldiers holding the national flag. The inscription at the base dedicates the monument to the heroic fighters for peace and freedom, concluding with a prayer for blessings upon them.
