There were several sightings posted to social media. Ed was filmed trotting through a neighborhood. The zebra quickly became the subject of internet memes. One fake posting showed Ed dining at a Waffle House, a southern staple. Others had him visiting other Tennessee cities or panhandling on the side of the road.

You found perfect examples of travelling animals. I didn’t know about Ed the Zebra!
Travelling on a bird must be the best way of flying (I mean, if you are not a bird). The illustration of that is sweet; I guess it belongs to a book or a fairy tale.

I liked this theme too! I like your choices. I remember Ed. There as a giraffe this year that got out. I couldn’t imagine not finding something so tall for so long! It wasn’t a forested area either. Unless they’re in a rescue I don’t think people should have exotic animals. I see zebras online that turn up in those terrible horse auctions. At least they often get bought and moved to a sanctuary and not the despicable canned hunts. I think it’s okay to hate the people who run them and visit them!

Love the llamas on their adventure. Ed the giraffe did well to escape capture briefly. There is a capybara here that escape from a zoo during transfer that has been on the run for months. There have been sightings of it relaxing by rivers when it promptly dives into the water. As it is in East Anglia there are lots of waterways, go capybara.
