I agree about the domes. They are so chubby and cute. Everything round in shape inspires safety and harmony, while angular shapes are all about energy and may convey authority, even aggressiveness. I think some churches had exactly that intent.

I like the roofs on orthodox churches. Near me is Saint Innocence, and it’s so pretty with gold and blue.
