Hong Kong, China – 2021 Romance of theThree Kingdoms. based on the classic Chinese novel, “Romance of the Three Kingdoms“. It is part of a set, titled “Classical Novels of Chinese Literature—Romance of the Three Kingdoms,” that features eight popular scenes from the classic novel. This “A Notion of Heroes over Warm Wine” scene is one of the eight included in the series. It depicts a famous story involving the warlords Cao Cao and Liu Bei discussing who qualifies as a hero while drinking warm wine. The series was designed by Shirman Lai with paintings by Tung Pui-sun.
