Annelies Marie Frank was a German-born Jewish girl who gained worldwide fame posthumously for keeping a diary documenting her life in hiding during the German occupation of the Netherlands.
Anne loved Hollywood and had a strong desire to be an actress.
Before going into hiding, Anne had a cat named Moortje.
Anne found solace in nature, often gazing out at the chestnut tree in the neighboring garden from her attic window.
While her diary entries are famously addressed to “Kitty,” she also used other names from popular Dutch books.
Her deepest wish was to grow into herself, become a journalist or writer, and write something great

If only she knew that she did become a writer and journalist, and did write something great.

She achieved all of that, and more. We were, and are still, blessed with her presence.

You are very welcome and I hope they do.
Question: have you ever heard of the annual Poetry Postcard Festival? I’ve been doing it for a few years and love it. I think you would also. Check out the web page:

That looks like a cool thing to do…if you wrote poems, though. I am not good at that, at all! I wish they had one with drawings…. 🙂 But thank you!

And she rewrote history with her courageous writing. She would be more famous than the most famous journalist or writer, and that too for times to come. 🙂
