My father grew (created?) bonsai. He’d carve out growing holes from pumice. I’m glad the cacao tree exists! Carob just isn’t the same.

Bonsai are fascinating although open skies and a lone tree would give much pleasure. I’m guessing the woodpecker must like cacao as much as we do.

The most colourful is the lat one, but the other trees are beautiful, too. I guess we all agree that cacao is great!

Bonsai always reminds me of an uncle who took up that hobby in his 80s! A lone tree is such a nice surprise and seems to need a hug. And, yes to cacao!
After enduring a winter of browns (and greys), green is definitely a welcome colour.
