The Towers of Bologna are a group of medieval structures in Bologna, Italy. The two most prominent ones remaining, the Two Towers, both leaning, are a landmark of the city, built by noble families in the 12th century.

2020 Coronavirus theme: aunties in quarantine, locked in a tower
I love that you included a fairytale tower! And that COVID isolation tower is incredible! I don’t know why I forgot about the Eiffel tower, I have one of those. My postcards from Europe when I was 13 are in a scrapbook, so I tend to forget about them when I look through my files. Or “files,” as files sounds so organized and they aren’t!
I’d forgotten about the Eifel Tower despite them showing it lit up on the TV as part of the Olympic coverage! Love the Bologna postcard colours. The aunties have thought of everything, I like the detail of Inge’s covid covered tower roof.
The Eiffel and CN Towers are iconic, and I love the historic context you’ve added with the towers of Bologna. I also enjoyed your playful take on towers with the Tangled and quarantine aunties postcards! 😀
I agree that you posted such iconic towers, like Eiffel and CN Tower. I have got some postcards of those towers of Bologne, and now I want to see them myself!
