…is the theme for today’s Sunday Stamps

Three-headed dragon defends itself against the attacks of a dragon fighter.
Germany opted or a generic motif rather than highlight a specific legend. They focused on a popular topic – dragons.
One of the most common motifs here is the dragon as a mythical animal or the fight with him. The snake-like hybrid being with the characteristics of different animals is mostly a symbol of chaos or the embodiment of the devil. In the High Middle Ages, defeating the monster is one thing in the life course almost obligatory for literary heroes. Nowadays, the image of the purely evil dragon has changed. In particular modern children’s media, he no longer shows any negative characteristics. This can also be called “victory over the dragon” and thus as overcoming fear and terror.

Love the many headed dragon. I seem to remember there is always one head that rules them all guess the knight just has to work out which one it is, tricky.

Oh! I never even thought of St. Joseph! I always discount those as Christmas stamps, nativity scenes, not the sainthood of the figures. That dragon is fabulous!

A three headed dragon would be nerve-wracking to come across!
I thought of Christmas stamps, but I’m not really up on saints… I’ll have to look these up to see why exactly they are saints.
