“Irish Stamp” is the theme for this week Sunday Stamps

The Lismore Crozier was discovered in a blocked-up doorway at Lismore Castle, in the early years of the 19th century. Like most medieval Irish croziers, it is formed of a wooden staff decorated with sheet bronze, spacer knops, and surmounted by a cast copper-alloy crook.

I remember so many searches for a four leaf clover when I was young. I like your research on the Irish stamp – one that gives no clues! violet

What do you mean “no clues”?

Perfect stamps for St. Patrick’s day. Although I guess it wasn’t the intention of the Dutch stamp, it fits in the topic. And it brings luck! 🙂
