Old Station in Yekaterinburg – The citizens were very proud of the railway station, which was built at the end of the 19 century, and when it became too small, they decided not to demolish it but to build a new building a hundred meters from it in 1914. It is now housing the museum of Railway history of Yekaterinburg.

  1. I love a clock tower on a building! And science centres are so much fun, this one looks so interesting. Ah, the spires of Oxford (I am a Morse fan and loved seeing them in the show).
The Chinese university has a very western theme to it, doesn’t it? And, finally, the smart people of Yekaterinburg! These hand drawn buildings in Russia are a nice collection.

  2. Russian railway stations are always impressive, nice you could browse a museum while waiting for a train. Love those Macau cloud cats.

  3. I had not thought of post offices for today’s topic!
I love all the postcards, of course. The style of the last one is really appealing, even if we don’t know the name of the place!
