“Calligraphy” is the theme for this week Sunday Stamps
Calligraphy, the art of beautiful handwriting. The term derives from the Greek words for “beauty” (kallos) and “to write” (graphein) — literally “beautiful writing.”
Not artistic writing, just handwriting.
Not sure if the Chinese characters on the following stamp were handwritten, but I’m including this stamp.

Two beautiful examples. I love to see letters on stamps, and that German series is wonderful.
