Cream was a British rock supergroup formed in London in 1966. The group consisted of bassist Jack Bruce, guitarist Eric Clapton, and drummer Ginger Baker. Bruce was the primary songwriter and vocalist, although Clapton and Baker contributed to songs.

I used to be a huge fan of Jimi Hendrix as a teenager… (actually, I still am). I even named my female dog “Jimi” in the early 70s.

Prenzlauer Berg is one of the most popular neighborhoods in Berlin, having undergone thorough gentrification and becoming the preferred landing pad for young families. The Prenzlauer Berg was a dull East Berlin neighborhood just a decade or two ago. It was a residential area with run-down facades and boring socialist style houses. However, in recent years, it has changed a lot as the area was pretty much restored and renovated.

The sender wrote these lovely words on the back:
“Some skies speak in silence, others in turquoise. 
A pause between storms, a thread of light. May it find a place in your collection, like a brushstroke of calm.”
