Gulangyu Island, a pedestrian-only island located off the coast of Xiamen, China. It is known for its colonial architecture and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Gulangyu is often referred to as “Piano Island” due to its rich musical heritage and the presence of the Piano Museum, which is the only one of its kind in China. The city of Xiamen, with its modern skyscrapers, is visible across the water from Gulangyu Island.
