Sunday Stamps: Stories, Folk Tales

“Stories, Folk Tales” is the theme for today’s Sunday Stamps.

Macau, China – The stamp features characters from a famous wuxia novel by Jin Yong, a renowned Chinese author. The novel is titled “The Legend of the Condor Heroes.”

USA – 2025 Goodnight Moon – The stamp features artwork inspired by Clement Hurd’s illustrations from the classic children’s book Goodnight
Moon by Margaret Wise Brown. (Look at that tiny mouse!)
United Kingdom – 2008 “The Ugly Sisters” from Cinderella.
United Kingdom – 2010 featuring the beloved animated characters Wallace and Gromit, created by Aardman Animations. They are known for their stop-motion claymation films.

  4. Legend of the Condor Heroes sounds interesting. I don’t recall Goodnight Moon being one my kids were interested in. I do like that little mouse!
