“Churches” is the theme for today’s Sunday Stamps.

Russia – 2018 Church On Blood in Honor of All Saints Resplendent, Orthodox Church in Yekaterinburg.
Russia – Armenia Joint Issue – 2022 Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Vanadzor. 
Vanadzor is an urban municipal community and the third largest city in Armenia, serving as the capital of Lori Province in the northern part of the country. It is located about 128 kilometres north of the capital Yerevan.
Spain – 1964 The Mosque–Cathedral of Córdoba, officially known by its ecclesiastical name of Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption is the cathedral of the Diocese of Córdoba dedicated to the Assumption of Mary and located in the Spanish region of Andalusia.Due to its status as a former mosque, it is also known as the Mezquita 
Mexico – 1966 Church Santa Prisca, Taxco

  1. Very different churches for Easter day! I have been in the Mosque of Cordoba, and it’s worth a visit!

  2. Seeing the one from Spain reminded me I have a few I could have used! I just didn’t look through the ones I haven’t photographed yet. Russia does have some spectacular churches. I’m glad they weren’t destroyed when religion was outlawed.

  3. The Russian church has quite a mouthful of a name! The mosque-cathedral with Islamic/Christian architecture would be fascinating to visit.
