Fujeira was a small independent emirate on the coast of the Persian Gulf. It’ ‘s now the seventh-largest city in UAE, located on the Gulf of Oman (part of the Indian Ocean). It is the only Emirati capital city on the UAE’s east coast.
And another stamp celebrating the postal system! And a rare hexagonal stamp! That ruffle (?) certainly outlines her face well, but mostly I think of how itchy it must have been to wear.

A hexagon is a nice idea for Columbus. I like frilly ruffs but they would have needed a lot of starch for the upkeep I think.
