Postcard from Italy
Florence Cathedral, formally the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Flower, is the cathedral of Florence, Italy. It was begun in 1296 in the Gothic style to a design of Arnolfo di Cambio and was structurally completed by 1436, with the dome engineered by Filippo Brunelleschi.
These are fantastic cathedral postcards! The black and white Cologne Cathedral is incredibly striking. The lack of colour really emphasizes the cathedral’s imposing architecture. And the Florence Cathedral, in color, is just as impressive! I wish to visit cathedrals outside Asia – even just one – some day!
Two stunning places that I’d like to visit!

I love all these different views of Cologne Cathedral!!
Aerial views are always good for showing just how dominant they are in the surrounding landscape.
