Postcard from Germany

Henri Lebasque (1865 -1937) was a French post-impressionist painter. He was born at Champigné (Western France). Lebasque had some commercial success during his lifetime. He worked on the decorations at the theatre of the Champs-Elysées and of the Transatlantique sealiner.
