Sunday Stamps: Children Art

This is the only stamp I found with actual children art. It’s from Italy to celebrate the 24th year of stamp day. Titled “Tree and Beds”, created by an elementary school child.

The following are stamps with children literature art.

Stamp from Brazil. The stamp shows a composition by Daniel Azulay himself. Beside his signature, it also reads his catch phrase “cotton candy for you!”.
This is a stamp from Japan commemorating Japanese music education. it was designed by R. Taniuchi features a young Japanese boy and girl looking out to sea with a boat in the background and with music and lyrics from Umi (The Sea)

In 2019, to celebrate 20 years of The Gruffalo, the German Post commissioned special edition Gruffalo stamps. Axel Scheffler is an award-winning, internationally-acclaimed illustrator of some of the most well-loved children’s books.

German stamp. 2022. Benjamin the Elephant (original German name: Benjamin BlĂ¼mchen; “Benjamin Blossom”). Torooo is the sound Benjamin makes when he trumpets.

  1. I always enjoy seeing other countries children’s stories, Benjamin elephant’s tarooo noise is now going to live in my head:) The Peanut characters are one of my favourites.
